Reddit Launched a TikTok Like Video Feed on iOS
- Reddit is taking short-form videos in the same vein as TikTok and Instagram Reels with a new button appearing on the iOS app.
- The button appears to the right of the search bar in the Reddit app and looks like an orange YouTube logo with an antenna. By tapping it, users enter a TikTok-like video interface where users can swipe up to move to the next video. In addition, each video has options for users to vote for, against, comment, award an award, or share it.
- TechCrunch reports that Reddit says the button should be available to “most iOS users.” Additionally, the post says that the video feed gets content from subreddits that users subscribe to and similar subreddits. It’s also worth noting that the interface isn’t entirely new, but it’s more accessible and now pulls content from more places.
