Fake 'Clubhouse for PC' Ads Having Malware Ran on Facebook: Report
- Several ads masquerading as a Clubhouse app for PC users in order to target victims with malware recently ran on Facebook, TechCrunch reported. Clicking on the ads opened a fake Clubhouse website that had a screenshot of what the non-existent PC app looks like, with a download link to the malicious app. However, the fake websites are now offline.
